A week, so sweet, so brief, so soon over; such was my experience on the Leiths School of Food and Wine Intermediate Cooking Skills course.
Writing this as we sit on a cute little BA turboprop plane on the way back from Dusseldorf, it seems like the Christmas season has snuck up and well and truly begun already.
Ok, so when I say Autumn I specifically mean “since the last post”, i.e. late August/all of September.
And when I say ‘Bits’ I mean “we’ve done various small things”.
And now that I’ve decoded the title for you all, on with the show!
Forgive the slightly morose title, but I warn you now – there’ll be more of that in this post, and not much in the way of new interesting things!
I’ll catch you up if you’ve not read the last post: it’s been a couple of months, we’ve done things, and now I’m going to tell you about some of the things.
There, now you’re all caught up.
One of my longest stretches between posts (about two months since the last real update apparently), but I’m still here, honest!
I’ve turned 32 since the last post; I’m pretty sure that’s when you get given your wisdom booster, right? So from now on you should just trust me. Consider me as an oracle, if you will. Good, I’m glad that’s settled.

The title doesn’t work quite so well as the Ides of March are apparently March 15th and I’ve already put up a couple of posts since then; BUT WHATEVER!
